Dread Gobbler Purge

Liyanna soared across on her butterfly wings the sky searching for her prey, a deadly set of star knives soaring alongside her. As she flies, scanning the outskirts of the city, she hears a cry of terror and races towards the scream. As she gets closer she spots one of the turkey menaces and it’s despicable undead entourage. Liyanna seethed with rage as her very essence burned and bridled at the very existence of such abominations.

She was able to calm herself enough to keep a level head. She dropped low into the alleyways and navigated her way to behind the turkey necromancer. She landed on the ground just behind the turkey as it cackled,

“Plucked and stuffed, ripped and torn, feasted upon by all. For once you shall feel the fear and pain that thou hast sown.”

The turkey’s unlucky victim had tripped and was scrabbling away from the zombies who seemed locked on their prey slowly hobbling towards him. One of the zombies grabbed the man and he screamed for mercy and just as the horrible monster went to start its feast, it’s head exploded in a shower of viscera, replaced by a flying starknife that just as it removed the head of the first zombie stopped in its tracks and immediately whipped back killing another one. The last of the three had only managed to turn around before a different starknife flew into its chest, shattering its ribs and spine to pieces causing the body to collapse to pieces, finally put back to rest.

The turkey turned around, it’s feathers bristling in anger as it opened its beak as if to speak, but couldn’t get a word out before it had to leap to the side, only dodging the large starknife thrown at it by such a feather’s breath that it was not missing some of what it had before.

“Foul monster, magic should be used to help and heal, truly heal, not hurt and twist!”, Liyanna stepped out from behind the alleyway. The moon stands in the sky above her, lighting her flared out black and blue wings in white moonlight and making her moonlight white hair shine like star fire as her voice bristles with rage and killing intent.

“You wouldn’t understand you disgusting Azata!” the turkey cried out, “people worship you! They look to you as bringers of hope and justice! They only see us as food! We shall teach all of you the follies of your ways!”

He started chanting and magic weaved around him but before he could finish the incantation a starknife plunged into his back, breaking his concentration and causing the magical energies to dissipate.

“There will be no more desecration of the natural order here you foul beast” Liyanna spoke sternly as she strode forward and rose her hand, the starknives flying around the battlefield fly into the air.

As the turkey looked up as if to try to make its point more, Liyanna interrupted him, “I will hear no more excuses.”

Liyanna brought down her hand and the 4 star knives all flew down and plunged into the turkey as it let out one last cry. The knives lifted out of the body as Liyanna strode over to the man who was almost zombie food and helped him off the ground.

“Th-th-th-thank you so much. I-I-I w-wouldn’t b-be alive if it wasn’t for your help.” the man stuttered.

“You’re more than welcome. You can either help me get these bodies back to rest or run back on home to your family. Your choice” Liyanna said in a casual, yet comforting way as she went to go bless the bodies and figure out what to do with them. It would be a long night.
