History

Alaine lived in a quiet port town that relied heavily on its fishing industry to stay afloat. Thus she spent her youth working with fishing crews, becoming extremely adept at handling a boat’s responsibilities. In a fit of drunken idiocy in a bar one night, she challenged a stranger to a duel outside. After sufficiently being beaten by the man, he introduced himself as Timora Pericol. With an open hand he invited her to join his crew, and they departed the following day.

Alaine actively strove to garner the approval of Timora, and worked harder than any other crew member on the ships. Eventually, she became his second in command, and they travelled for years accomplishing many feats. When Timora decided to step down as leader, he passed the responsibility to Alaine. She accepted the role, and for many years led the crew the same way Timora did.

After some time, Alaine also became disinterested with the position as leader. She decided to pass the title onto another crew member and headed out in search of Timora. She learned that he had settled down in a town called Meita, and arrived soon after leaving the crew. Once reunited, she decided to marry him. She became his assistant as well, helping manage the town’s affairs.

Involvement in Meita’s Corruption

Similarly to Timora’s situation, Alaine has been trapped in the town since the black market groups have moved in. While she has suggested to Timora to handle the troublemakers themselves, he denies the idea out of concern for the remaining innocent townsfolk. Alaine acknowledges that the two of them would not be able to take on the enemies alone, but with help it might be possible.

With the black market groups being eradicated from Meita, Alaine and Timora have settled down and gone back to running the town as per usual.
